Founded in 1947 by engineer Werner Pinternagel, Dynacord has spent over 75 years engineering the amplifiers and processing behind touring, installed and live sound systems worldwide. Its power amplifiers have driven systems for artists including Santana, Toto and George Benson, and hundreds of thousands remain in service across venues, tours and installations today.
Pinternagel coined the Dynacord name by combining the Greek word for power with the Latin word for harmony, reflecting the balance the brand has chased ever since. From the first tube amplifier in 1947 through decades of German engineering, Dynacord grew into one of the most established names in professional audio, now operating under the KEENFINITY family alongside Electro-Voice.
Dynacord’s amplifier range spans from compact U Series units for cafes and offices through to TGX and IPX amplifiers built for large scale touring and installed systems, all engineered and manufactured in Germany. As a founding member of the OCA Alliance through parent company Bosch, Dynacord has driven IP audio standards including Dante and AES67, with OMNEO IP architecture and SONICUE software giving engineers full network control over amplification and processing.
