Merging Technologies is a Swiss company specializing in high-resolution audio systems, reliable multi-speaker playout, networkable converters, and a cross-platform audio manager.
Founded in 1990 in Chexbres, Switzerland, by electronics engineer Claude Cellier, Merging Technologies builds on his decade at Nagra Kudelski, a renowned Swiss audio company. Claude played a key role in designing legendary Nagra IV-S and T-Audio TC tape recorders, known for their reliability and top-tier sound quality.
Recognizing the potential of Audio over IP early on, Merging Technologies launched its first RAVENNA interface in 2012. The Horus AD/DA converter set new standards in connectivity, earning a reputation for exceptional transparency and high-quality mic preamps. Its modular design carried over to the compact Hapi unit. Both are now AES67 compliant. To streamline large-scale audio routing, Merging introduced the ANEMAN Audio Network Manager. The Anubis desktop converter range redefined its category, with the AoIP-enabled Anubis SPS becoming a key tool for broadcasters.
Leading recording engineers worldwide rely on Merging Technologies, with many award-winning projects captured on Merging systems. Most DSD and DXD downloads available today were recorded using their technology. With deep expertise in AES67, RAVENNA, NMOS, ST2110, and ST2022-7, they also provide OEM solutions for manufacturers integrating these protocols into their products.
Broadtech are an authorised reseller of Merging Technology products.
