For over 20 years, StudioHub has been the de facto standard for wiring broadcast studios, with thousands of radio plants worldwide built on its RJ45 infrastructure. StudioHub pioneered the idea of running balanced analog and digital AES/EBU audio over standard CAT5 cabling, turning a computer networking connector into a broadcast wiring staple.
StudioHub was originally developed by Radio Systems to cut installation time and complexity in broadcast facilities. When the brand disappeared from the market, its loss was felt across the industry. Angry Audio founder Michael “Catfish” Dosch, a longtime broadcast console designer, bought the brand back in 2021, bringing the full StudioHub product line back into production.
The StudioHub range covers adapters, patch panels, headphone amps, breakout boxes and power inserters, all built around the widely adopted StudioHub+ pinout used by Axia and other major equipment vendors. Every product is designed to plug and play, cutting studio wiring time while staying compatible with the infrastructure engineers already have in place.
